Nestled just 20 kilometers from St. Petersburg and Pulkovo International Airport, BIP Castle offers a truly enchanting setting for the EO White Nights Summit. Built between 1795 and 1797 by the order of Emperor Paul I, this historic fortress—also known as the Bastion of Emperor Paul—was designed by the renowned architect Vincenzo Brenna, with construction overseen by architect D. Quadri and military engineer V. Caius. The castle stands on the remnants of a 1702 Swedish outpost, adding layers of history to its unique charm.
Surrounded by the serene Marienthal Park and close to the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Pavlovsk Palace and Park—masterpieces crafted by iconic architects like Charles Cameron, Giacomo Quarenghi, and Andrey Voronikhin—BIP Castle blends imperial grandeur with natural beauty. Its pentagonal structure, complete with watchtowers and historic military fortifications, once housed cannons and even served as Russia's first school for the hearing-impaired.

Visa Requirements to Enter the Russian Federation
The APEC Business Travel Card (ABTC) is a travel document issued to business travellers who are citizens of APEC participating economies. Valid for five years, the card eliminates the need for its holder to possess a visa when visiting other APEC participating economies as long as pre-clearance has been obtained during the application process.

The St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF)
Over the last 24 years, the Forum has become a unique and leading global platform for members of the business community to meet and discuss the key economic issues facing Russia, emerging markets, and the world as a whole. SPIEF has been held since 1997, and since 2006, it has been held under the auspices of the President of the Russian Federation, who attends the event each year.
